1st Touches & Developmental

These programs are designed to introduce the proper volleyball technique for all new athletes while keeping a fun and focused environment. This will help set them up for success moving into our competitive travel teams as they get older.

Winter Session - Recreation Clinics -1st through 3rd grades

• Registration OPENS December 13th at 8:00am

• Season Dates: Feb. 14 – March 21

• Grades: 1st through 3rd 

• Format:

  • 1 session/week per group — 1 hour practices for 1st/2nd/3rd grade. Practice days are Saturday mornings at Sandpoint Middle School from 9:00am-10:00am

    • Cost $75

• Staffing: Head Coach/Director Savanna Scott with parent volunteers to help run drills and games on Fridays.

• No uniforms/shirts but NIVBC gear is available for purchase

• No cap on amount of athletes participating, the more the merrier!

• Goal: Keep casual, fun, and accessible for young athletes to explore volleyball

• Season Dates: Feb. 11 – March 21

• Grades: 4th through 6th 

• Format:

• 2 Practices/week — 2 hours long.   Practice days are Wednesdays at LPOHS gym from 4:30pm-6:30pm and Saturday mornings at Sandpoint Middle School from 10:00am-12:00pm

• This season will also include attending Volleymania on March 8th in Spokane Valley for scrimmages and hosting a Round Robin at Sandpoint Middle School on March 21st for scrimmages. 

• Staffing: Head Coach/Director Savanna Scott with parent volunteers to help run drills and games on Fridays.

• Your athlete will get a uniforms/shirt for this season

• Cost $275

• Limited space available for this team season

• Goal: Keep casual, fun, and accessible for young athletes to explore volleyball and begin to compete with surrounding area groups.
